Steam Clean
What makes O’Neill & Son’s cleaning system so different is we use state-of-the-art equipment such as our Blue Wave Truck Mounted Extractor for Carpet and Upholstery cleaning which research has indicated provide the best capability for cleaning. This system is commonly referred to as “Steam Cleaning”, although no actual steam is actually generated. The process consists of spraying, under pressure, a solution of water and detergent in to the pile and recovering the water and soil with a powerful vacuum into a holding tank. The pressure enables to reach whole dirt and odors from the floor area where other machines do not attain. It also helps the carpet dry faster. The system works perfectly as it doesn’t only wash the surface it goes deep inside the carpet and removes all old dirt that has accumulated there.
Dry Clean
Our Dry Clean system is better suited for higher quality carpets such as Axminster, Wiltons, Wools and Wool Cotton Blends to name a few. Because of the nature of these intricate carpets, a dry clean system works best because it uses minimal moisture which can cause the delicate fibers to shrink and has a faster drying time than a steam clean process. The dry clean system works with a moist chemical that is placed in your carpet, which is then brushed into the fibers and nap of the carpet, it mixes with the dirt and other debris in the fibers and nap and then is allowed to dry. As the chemicals dry they crystallize and trap the dirt and debris in small granules and once the carpet dries it is then vacuumed and all the dirt is removed. Proper cleaning involves professional judgments as well as the use of several different cleaning techniques, which we offer to ensure your satisfaction with the best results.
